Lakshmana Rao), Today, on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava, we celebrate our home state of Karnataka, whose rich, vibrant and beautiful cultures, traditions and language transcend time and generations alike. From the lush, green forests of Nagarahole and Bandipur, to the pristine Kaveri and Thungabhadra rivers; from the intricate temple complexes of Belur-Halebidu and Hampi, to the majestic palace of Mysore; from the juggernauts of music and science to the heralded writers and theatre artists: these are the many aspects that encapsulate the very best of our home. And we always have, and will, carry that pride and joy of being Kannadigas/Kannadthis, no matter where we are.
